| I went to Mumtaz restaurant in Regents Park, London on a Saturday night and I must comment that I was completely appalled. We waited two hours for our main course and when it finally did arrive it tasted like sawdust. We ordered chicken cutlets and Shami Kebabs for starters from a variety, which was very small indeed. The kebabs were awful and I would not recommend them to anyone. For our main course we were specifically told that we had to order two dishes per person, which seems very unreasonable to me as this just wastes food, as many people would not be able to eat two dishes. I did not for one. From a small (not very appealing) variety we chose a chicken dish, which tasted noxious. I was filled with a loathing unpleasant taste in my mouth afterwards. The restaurant is overly priced. The music was extremely loud; it was impossible for one to think. The waiters didn’t know if they were coming or going. As for the management, they were extremely impolite and rude. The service was absolutely dreadful. I have never been to a restaurant, which is outstandingly bad in all ways. I would definitely not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Impeccable it is not. |
